Dr. Michael Onyebuchi Eze
Dr Eze holds two Ph.D.’s, one in Political Science and International Studies from University of Cambridge where he is an acting political scientist who specialises in transitional justice. He also has a Ph.D. in History and Cultural Reflection from the Witten/Herdecke University in Germany, where he focused on the role of cultural narratives in the making of modern South Africa. His masters research at the University of Pretoria further reflects on the concept of Ubuntu which he describes as an alternative to communitarian ethics in the face of liberal individualism. He has served as a visiting scholar at the University of Amsterdam and two different faculties at Stanford University.
